The Homes: The family home is usually made of adobe or cement block. They make them themselves with help from friends and family. Most homes do not have any running water inside. Their toilet is outside also. Water comes every other day.Homes have no fans or heaters, however they do have electricity. Very few homes have a telephone, most however, have a small TV.The Family: The women wash the clothes outside in a washtub with a scrubbing board. They usually have an outside cooking area and one inside also. Many times their grown children and their families live with the parents.Anyone able to work and help the family make a living is required to do so.The women and small children all help with the daily chores.
